Become a SSN Ambassador!!

We recently received this email from a wife who has resolved most of her disclosure problems enough that she feels comfortable sharing her story with others. Responses she received from those hearing her story so empowered her that she wrote the following invitation encouraging other spouses to "spread the word," too.

Wherever possible and if you are comfortable with sharing your story, please share brochures or information about SSN. We need to get the word out to help others who may be in this situation who think they are alone and unique....like I did before I found SSN.

We can share brochures with Churches, Doctor offices, Schools, local Rainbow Organizations, Social Services, Abuse Centers...anyone or any organization who may play a supportive role in someone's life.

By being open to sharing some of our story, we can help others to understand. Even if someone doesn't walk this journey of having a gay spouse, they may know somebody, who knows somebody who is walking this journey and can be of help.

We don't have to share every nuance about our situations; it's enough to say, "I have/had a gay spouse also. Let me help you by directing you to SSN.”

Nobody should have to walk this journey alone.
