Location: Treasure Island, FL
The resort has a huge beach with volleyball, swimming pool, Tiki Bar and a large covered area outside with tables and chairs all with a fabulous view of the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
The weekend's main event will take place on Friday night at the Treasure Island City Hall - a short walk or ride from the Resort - a van will be available to shuttle folks back and forth.
There will be a silent auction featuring of various pieces of work contributed by fellow Str8s to benefit SSN. Many of these pieces were actually created by the Str8s who donated them. This will take place Friday night during the "main event"

Hotel Rooms are filling up fast. Please make your reservations soon! We are on track to have over 125 straight spouses at this year's gathering! If you've not yet booked your hotel, fill out the information request form below and the event organizer will contact you with hotel locations.
Most of the gathering is an "on your own" event. In other words you pay for your own hotel, travel, and most of your meals in whatever manner you choose. Thursday night is a "grill your own" dinner on the beach. Saturday, many folks explore the local restaurants, or partake of leftovers from the Friday night "Main Event". Sunday night, for those who stay, we have a reservation at a local seafood restaurant. All of the rooms at the primary hotel have kitchenettes and usually you can find someone to car pool to the grocery store if you wish. Again, if you have questions please fill out the information request form below.
The only "fee" for this event is a $35 donation (per person) which covers the following: paper products (plates, napkins, cups, wipes and silverware) for the duration of your stay at the Gathering; the Friday night "Main Event" meal with soft drinks; the fee for the catering hostess and assistants plus their tips and the DJ costs for Friday night. All left covers will be properly stored and served again Saturday evening during the "Left-over BBQ and Pizza Party".
The event organizers are requesting that participants please make this donation as far in advance as possible, so that the "up front" costs associated with hall rental, and catering can be paid.
We are no longer accepting donations through the web site. We do sincerely thank those of you who paid in advance it makes it much easier for the organizors. Please Note: If for some reason, you were unable to make your donation in advance, cash will be accepted at the door.
