Upcoming Events

While there are small, local get-togethers of Str8s groups throughout the year, currently there is only one annual Str8s Gathering. It is held in October at Treasure Island beach in Florida. Started with 13 straight spouses from around Florida in 1998, it has grown into the largest assembly of straight spouses in the world. Attendees experience the group fellowship and camaraderie gained through healing or “letting go” traditions including an opportunity to tell your personal story and hear those of others. New Strs8s see firsthand there is hope; that happiness in life can be found again with the passage of time. In such a large group, whose main connection is through the internet, physically meeting and talking, in person, with others sharing the same experience often provides that final nudge that one needs to realize they can live, laugh and love again.

Fun in the Sun X - the 10th Str8 Florida Gathering at Treasure Island Beach

Fun in the Sun IX has just ended. An incredible time was had by those attending. Fun in the Sun X will occur the third weekend of October 2010. Please check back for more details as they become available.
